Arnold Schwarzenegger brother Meinhard was the older brother of Arnold. They had a rural background and raised as a Roman Catholic. Once Arnold said that “back in Austria, it was a very different world if a brother and I did something bad or disobeyed our parents, we were not spared from the rod.”

The two brothers started their Body Building career together, but Meinhard was never as passionate about Body Building as Arnold. The brothers have pictures together while flexing their muscular bodies. He loved Arnold Schwarzenegger brother Meinhard. He always looked up to his brother for guidance and advice.

In his book, Arnold wrote that his father always favored his elder brother, and he used to feel hurt at times. Although the relation between two was good yet Arnold didn’t attend his brother’s funeral in 1971 and claimed to bail out on it due to his determination towards his Body Building career as he was working to participate in a big championship. But the truth is he doesn’t want to attend because his father would be there.

The child was raised by his mother Erika Knapp and Grand Parents until he was 13, and Erika Knapp shifted to Beja, Portugal, with her son. Patrick developed an interest in Football, but to get a better education, they moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where Patrick joined the German School of Lisbon.

In 1987, Patrick graduated with Abitur High School diploma and moved to the United States to attend the University of California, and passed out with degrees in Economics and Political Sciences and later worked for Congressman Lee H. Hamilton. Between 1992 and 1995, he studied Law from the University of Southern California’s School of Law and graduated in May 1995 with Juris Doctor.

Apart from an attorney, Knapp Schwarzenegger is also an investor and shareholder of companies such as E-mobility innovator and the famous premium tequila brand “Padre Azul.” In 2003, Patrick Knapp joined hands with Bloom Heights and became a partner there. Arnold Schwarzenegger brother missed all the beautiful moments of his sons.

On April 30, Knapp married Bliss Ellis, who is a former Model and publicist. The couple has four kids and lives in Los Angeles. In 2006, Knapp applied for US citizenship, but before that, on asking the Austrian Government to allow him to have Dual citizenship and was granted.

Arnold even helped Patrick with his mother Erika Knapp’s treatment, who died in 1999 after battling cancer for two years.

 After taking his Law degree, Knapp worked for several big names and companies. Until Former Governor Schwarzenegger offered him his advisor for the 8th season of Mark Burnett produced NBC show, “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” which gave Patrick a lead in his career.

Unluckily, Arnold Schwarzenegger brother didn’t get to enjoy his life for long and died on May 20, 1971, during an accident when his son was just three years old. The elder Schwarzenegger was drunk driving his car, which got crashed, and he could not survive it. The loss was immiscible for the family.

Arnold Refused to attend his brother’s funeral, as he did not want to see his father. He said he would grieve alone and mourn his loss in his way.
